Hampta Pass

Itinerary Details
Drive from Manali to Jobra, then begin a short 2-hour trek to Chika camp along the Rani Nallah stream.
Walk through boulder fields and cross freezing rivers to reach Balu ka Gera, a massive sand bed beneath the pass.
A steep climb through snowfields to the top of Hampta Pass, followed by a steep descent to Shea Goru.
Descend along the river to Chatru, then drive through the rough Spiti highway to the stunning Chandratal Lake.
Drive back to Manali via the engineering marvel, the Atal Tunnel, completing the journey.
