Friendship Peak Expedition
Friendship Peak is a majestic peak situated in the Pir Panjal range in Himachal Pradesh, overlooking Solang Valley. Climbing this peak is a true mountaineering experience, requiring technical knowledge, physical fitness, and use of crampons, ropes, and ice axes to navigate steep glacier walls.

Itinerary Details
Drive to Dhundi, then trek through pine forests to the alpine meadow camp at Bakarthach.
A steep climb through high ridges to the famous Lady Leg base camp, right at the snout of the glacier.
Learn snow craft, glacier movement, self-arrest with ice-axes, and fit technical crampons for the summit climb.
Wake up at midnight. Rope up and begin climbing the steep snow slopes and glacier ridge to reach the summit of Friendship Peak at dawn. Return to Lady Leg.
A buffer day for bad weather. If summit was completed, descend back to the green valley camp of Bakarthach.
Descend to Dhundi roadhead and drive back to Manali to conclude the mountaineering expedition.
